Masaba Gupta's collection depicts visual ironies, captivates runway at fashion week

New Delhi, March 29 (ANI): Indian designer label Satya Paul's fashion director Masaba Gupta recently showcased a colourful collection titled 'Icarus' with the use of exaggerated motifs and depiction of visual ironies at the Wills Lifestyle Fashion Week (WIFW) Autumn/Winter Collection in New Delhi. On the third day of WIFW on Friday, Masaba Gupta adhered to her signature style of prints on garments and colour blocking, creating an element of wonder which received applause from the audience and fashionistas. California, Feb 5 (ANI): Microsoft Corp named 22-year company veteran Satya Nadella as its next chief executive officer and said co-founder Bill Gates would step down as chairman and advise the new CEO on technology, marking an epochal change of control at the company that drove the PC revolution. Nadella, a 46-year old born in India who led the creation of Microsoft's Internet-based, or "cloud" computing services, is only Microsoft's third CEO in 39 years, taking over from Steve Ballmer, who inherited the job from Gates in 2000. Nadella, who describes himself as a cricket and poetry lover, called the appointment "humbling" in an email to the company's employees. Indian Coast Guard progresses on Tamil fishermen issues

Chennai, Jan 20 (ANI): Inspector General of Indian Coast Guard, Satya Prakash Sharma briefed mediapersons regarding the issues of Tamil fishermen. Sharma said that though the Indian coast guard has arrested Sri Lankan fishermen for illegal fishing in Indian waters on several occasions, they are more often let off after serving their jail term or are exchanged in lieu of the Indian fishermen who are held captive by the Sri Lankan forces. Sharma had earlier stated that a total of 52 Sri Lankan fishermen were handed over and now 151 fishermen remain with India. Jan 20, 2014
