Prince William and Kate Middleton begin offical engagments on second day of Canadian royal tour

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge went to Vancouver on 24 September, as they began their official engagements on the royal tour of Canada. Without George and Charlotte the royal couple flew on a sea plane, visited a charity for vulnerable women and met emergency responders for Vancouver. The Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, welcomed Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, and Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, to Canada. In his speech held during a ceremony marking the beginning of an eight day Royal tour through the country, Trudeau thanked William and Kate for introducing Canada to their children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
