UP Police hold clothes, mobile, internet responsible for rise in rapes

Meerut, Oct 30 (ANI): In a RTI filed on increasing rapes by an activist in Meerut city of Uttar Pradesh the state Police has held factors like improper dressing, use of mobile phones and internet responsible for such crimes. RTI Activist Lokesh Khurana who had filed the RTI, said that the police giving such improper statements on increasing crime shows its irresponsibility in handling law and order in the state.
