Hundreds of Iraqis flee homes as Mosul offensive continues

More than 1,000 Iraqis have left their homes in the village of Abu Jarboua near the town of Bashiqa, despite Isis threats of execution for those trying to escape. Iraqi troops and Kurdish fighters have cleared dozens of villages as they drive towards Mosul, giving confidence to civilians looking to escape the conflict.
