Indian youth enters Guinness records for speedcubing

Chennai, March 02 (ANI): Taking speedcubing to a new level, an Indian youth entered the Guinness Book of world records by solving five Rubik’s cubes single-handedly in just over a minute. Solving five Rubik’s cube in 1.23.934 minutes, Bhargav Narasimhan of Chennai city, broke the existing record of 1.52 minutes held by Tumu Tabuchi of Japan. Since its inception in 1980s Rubik Cube has intrigued children and elders alike. The fascination with the red-blue-green-yellow-white-orange angular plastic cube is such that there is a global community of speedcubers today. Bharghav says he was happy he did it for the nation. At present he holds more than 40 national record and two Asian records for solving Rubik’s Cube single-handedly. Mar 2, 2015
