PM Modi touts bilateral ties with US at State Department Luncheon

Washington DC, Oct 01 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended a welcome reception at the US State Department where during his speech he promoted ties with the United States with symbolism and humor. Joined by US Secretary of State John Kerry and US Vice President Joe Biden, Modi made a statement to celebrate the growing ties between America and India. Modi also attended bilateral talks with the U.S. President Barack Obama to discuss issues ranging from manufacturing to sanitation to deepen ties. Speaking at the State Department, Modi underscored the two countries' increasingly overlapping paths. Modi said that the difference between the two was reduced in this trip.
