Latehar, Jan 17 (ANI): Communist Party of India (Maoist) called for a shutdown on Saturday in Jharkhand and Bihar in protest against the death of its cadres who had been gunned down during an encounter in Hazaribagh District recently. The shutdown had an impact in the Latehar District of Jharkhand, where no public transport or heavy vehicles were seen plying on the National Highway (NH) 75 and NH 99. IGL gas pipeline catches fire in South Delhi, no causalities

New Delhi, Jan 16 (ANI): A massive fire engulfed a pipeline of the city gas distributor Indraprastha Gas Ltd. (IGL) on Friday morning in the Moti Bagh area of South Delhi. Ten fire brigade vehicles were rushed to the spot and the fire was brought under control. According to the reports, the fire started after a leak in the gas pipeline in the Moti Bagh area operated by the state-owned GAIL or Gas Authority of India Limited.
