Decade-long census finds more gorillas, chimpanzees

A decade-long study of Western Equatorial Africa's gorillas and chimpanzees has uncovered both good and bad news. The Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS)-led study titled "Guns, germs, and trees determine density and distribution of gorillas and chimpanzees in Western Equatorial Africa" appears in the latest edition of the journal Science Advances.
