New Delhi, Mar 02 (ANI): The Congress party on Monday staged a walkout from the Parliament after its demand for Prime Minister's statement on JandK Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed's remark giving credit to separatists and Pak government to ensure successful polls. Congress leader Shashi Tharoor said that democracy of India runs with the people of India not with Pakistani government. Meanwhile, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu said that Opposition has every right to stage walkout, but government does not agree with JandK CM's statement. Kejriwal meets CAG to seek status of Delhi discom audit

New Delhi, Feb 25 (ANI): Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday met the Comptroller and Auditor General Shashi Kant Sharma to assess the status of the audit of power discoms accounts ordered by his government during its previous stint. Sunanda murder probe: SIT questions Tharoor again

New Delhi, Feb 12 (ANI): Congress leader and former Union Minister Shashi Tharoor is presently being questioned for the second time in connection with his wife, Sunanda Pushkar's murder. The interrogation round is underway at the SIT office in south Delhi's Vasant Vihar area. Tharoor's domestic help, Narain Singh, is also likely to be questioned by the SIT today. Last week, Sunanda Pushkar's son, Shiv Menon, was also interrogated by the Special Investigation Team (SIT). Last month, Tharoor was interrogated at the Vasant Vihar police station in South Delhi. The police had earlier in January said that based on available evidence, Sunanda Pushkar, 51, was poisoned. A case of murder was registered on January 6. New Delhi, Feb 11 (ANI): Delhi Police Commissioner BS Bassi on Wednesday briefed about summon to AAP leader Naresh Balyan in illegal liquor seizure case and about Sunanda Pushkar murder case. Bassi said that Balyan had asked not to summon him till elections so he will now be summoned and enquired. He added that if Balyan still does not turn up legal course of action shall be taken against him. New Delhi, Feb 8 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Subramanian Swamy on Sunday alleged that Sunanda Pushkar's murder was carried out by men hired from Dubai and Pakistan, and added that former union minister and Congress leader Shashi Tharoor should undergo custodial interrogation in this case. Pushkar, who married Tharoor in 2010, had checked into The Leela Hotel in Chanakyapuri a day before her death on January 17, 2014. Tharoor's aides said the couple had checked into the luxury hotel because of renovation work at his New Delhi bungalow. Sunanda Pushkar's son interrogated by SIT

New Delhi, Feb 05 (ANI): Sunanda Pushkar's son Shiv Menon is being interrogated by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Delhi Police on Thursday in connection with the probe related to her death in January last year. Police Commissioner BS Bassi said Menon's interrogation can throw light on various aspects which can help with the investigation. Sunanda's husband and Congress leader Shashi Tharoor, television journalist Nalini Singh and former Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh have been interrogated by the SIT so far. Earlier last month, the police had said that 51-year-old Sunanda was poisoned. A case of murder was registered on January 6. Sunanda, who was found dead in the five-star Leela Hotel in Delhi on January 17, 2014, was married to Tharoor for a little less than four years. Feb 5, 2015
