The cast and the crew were present during the launch of Raj Purohit's debut movie. Bollywood director Rohit Shetty who was the guest of honour said that the movie and the cast should be supported. Jigariyaa is inspired from true events that tell the love story of Shyamlal Gupta and Radhika Sharma. Raj Purohit, Director of the movie said that the movie was based on a real love story.
