Governor of Chinas Yunnan state hails economic ties with Kolkata

Kolkata, Mar 30 (ANI): Governor of China’s Yunnan province, Li Jiheng during an exclusive business meet in West Bengal hailed the economic engagement between Kolkata and Yunnan. Jiheng said that ties between Yunnan and West Bengal is the only sub national cooperation mechanism between China and India. It happens: Sachin Tendulkar Unveils World s Largest Digital Photo Mosaic Of Himself

Mumbai, March 28 (ANI): Legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar felt overwhelmed as he unveiled world's largest digital photo mosaic of himself in Mumbai. The photo mosaic was adapted from a painting created by ace painter, Viveek Sharma, titled 'Eye of the Tiger', which draws parallel between the tiger and the iconic batsman for his strength and valiant acts of courage, bravery and precision. The original painting by Sharma, which illustrates Tendulkar is akin to the 'King of the Jungle' and the ruler of the Earth, was also unveiled at the event. Meanwhile, Tendulkar also thanked his fans for immense support. Sachin left the game after playing more Test matches (200), scoring the most test (15,921) and one-day international (18,426) runs, and compiling more test (51) and one-day (49) hundreds than any other player in cricket history. Nainital, March 21 (ANI): A student of class 12 in hill town of Nainital in India's northern Uttarakhand province,Rajesh Adhikari, has created a shoe that can now even charge a mobile phone. This means that no matter where you are, wearing these shoes gives one a reason to get up and walk. He said that the idea of making such a waterproof charger struck when it snowed heavily in Nainital and many people, including him, had to suffer due to power shutdown in the city. This turned out to be an inspiration for him which made him make a powerhouse out of a shoe and make full use of the energy generated out of the footwear when a person walks.
