Iraqi army prepares to recapture Mosul from Islamic State

The Iraqi armys heavy weaponry heads towards Mosul, preparing for an attack on the city. Mosul has been held by Islamic State since 2014.It is the largest city held by Isis and was home to two million people before the war.Freeing it could destroy ISs hold on half of its territory in Iraq. The contents of a previously unpublished pro-EU article written by Boris Johnson two days before he publicly announced his support for the Leave camp, have been made public.When asked about the article Johnson stated he had written one article each both for remaining and leaving the EU to weigh up the arguments.
