Eagle cam captures second Bald Eagle hatching in Washington DC

The second of two baby bald eagles hatched on 20 March at Washingtons National Arboretum. The fluffy grey eaglet, whose birth coincides with the first day of Spring, emerged from its shell in the early hours of the morning when it was still dark, but made a much-anticipated appearance shortly after 7.00am local time, when its parent moved aside to reveal the latest addition to the nest. Camera captures amazing footage of bald eagle egg hatching

Bald Eagles known as Mr. President and The First Lady welcomed their first eaglet on 18 March in Washington, DC. The first egg was laid on 10 February and the other on 14 February. An eagle cam is providing live footage of the first bald eagles to nest in the citys National Arboretum since 1947.
