Sarajevo War Hostel recreates life during siege of city

A hostel has been set up to recreate the conditions of those trapped inside the Siege of Sarajevo during the Bosnian war. The hostel is run by a family who survived the three-year-long siege and hope to educate guests about their experience. Exclusive footage received by IBTimesUK shows security forces in Bamenda, Cameroon, firing water cannons at a student dorm to try to force them to lectures. The Cameroon Teachers Trade Union (Cattu) declared a sit-in strike on 22 November for teachers and students in the Northwest and Southwest, the two English-speaking regions of Cameroon. Independence calls in the regions have been intensifying since October 2016, when a group of English speaking lawyers took to the streets to protest against the use of French in courts and the lack of English versions of some legal acts and codes.
