Seven years previously, divers discovered the oldest known stationary fish traps in northern Europe at the same location. This discovery, along with new findings including a 9,000-year-old pick axe made out of elk antlers, indicate mass fishing and a semi-permanent settlement. The settlement has now been mapped comprehensively for the first time. Nov 15, 2016
