Rising river water levels causes Myanmar pagoda to collapse

Video footage captured the moment a Buddhist pagoda in Pakokku Township of central Magway Region in Myanmar collapsed and fell into the Ayeyarwaddy River on July 20. Shocked visitors to Thiri Yadana Pyilone Chantha Pagoda wailed as they watched the structure slowly slide into the fast-flowing water.  Jul 24, 2017
