Amritsar, June 06 (ANI): SAD President Simranjit Singh Mann on Friday stated that the Sikh community has only one demand for a separate nation of Khalistan. He said that Khalistan will be a buffer country between Pakistan, India and China and an ideal example of peaceful existence of all communities. North Waziristan, June 02: Failure of peace talks early this year between the Pakistan Government and the Taliban has resulted in army action in North Waziristan. In one of the deadliest air strikes, Pakistan armed forces claims to have killed some 80 hardcore militants in a mountainous region bordering Afghanistan, known as a stronghold of Taliban and al Qaeda-links militants. Army said the strikes were aimed at those involved in recent attacks against the Pakistani armed forces. However, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader, Imran Khan, expressed his "serious concerns" over military strikes in tribal areas and termed it a clear beginning of a full-fledged military operation in the region. Indian fishermen released by Pakistan thank Modi for their homecoming

Amritsar, May 27 (ANI): Indian fishermen released by Pakistan arrived in Amritsar and thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for their homecoming. Pakistan freed Indian prisoners on May 25 as a goodwill gesture, a day ahead of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's visit to New Delhi to attend Modi's oath-taking ceremony. Fifty-nine Indian prisoners, who were freed from Malir jail of Karachi, celebrated the joy of homecoming. A released fisherman, Pappu, thanked Modi for extending an olive to nuclear rival Pakistan, which ensured their release from jails.
