New Delhi, Feb 18 (ANI): Former Railway Minister and TMC leader Dinesh Trivedi on Tuesday criticized Lok Sabha speaker Meira Kumar's decision to stop live proceedings from the Lok Sabha. The live telecast of Parliament proceedings was stopped as the Lok Sabha began the process of passing the controversial bill that seeks to create a Telangana state by dividing Andhra Pradesh. New Delhi, Feb 18 (ANI): In an unprecedented measure, the Lok Sabha on Tuesday passed the controversial Telangana Bill with the main opposition BJP giving full support to the Congress in the passage of the bill. The bill was literally passed inside closed doors, as all the entry points were closed after members assembled inside the House at 3 pm. Live telecast of the proceedings on Lok Sabha TV was banned on the orders of Lok Sabha speaker Meira Kumar. Soon after the House met at 3 pm, Speaker Meira Kumar asked Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde to initiate the debate. He said the President accepted the resignations and Delhi Assembly is kept under suspended animation. Earlier, Kejriwal resigned as Delhi's chief minister and his resignation was accepted by the Council of Ministers of the Government of the national capital on February 14.
