Kanpur, March 29 (ANI): Family of Squadron leader of Indian Air Force (IAF), Ashish Yadav, who was killed in the cargo plane crash, resented no response from the Air Force authorities post incident. C-130J Super Hercules IAF cargo plane crashed on Friday, killing its crew of five, highlighting poor safety standards across the country's armed services. Yadav was a Squadron leader at the Hindon Air Base of Agra. A museum in Manipur showcases relics of Second World-War

Imphal, March 29 (ANI): The museum was set up by the Second World War Imphal campaign foundation with support from Manipur tourism department. Manipur, often considered to be one of the most significant theatres of World War II, witnessed many battles during that time. The recovered World War II artifacts include barrels of rare Arisaka guns and bullets, a radio compass of a Dakota aircraft, artillery shells, Allied khaki shirts, war manuals, type 97 Japanese grenade, type 91 Japanese grenade and oxygen cylinders used by aircraft pilots. IAF's C-130J Super Hercules crashes near Gwalior, Retd Wing Commander calls it shocking

New Delhi, March 28 (ANI): In a major setback to the Air Force, IAF's C-130J Super Hercules on Friday crashed near Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh after taking off from Agra air base, killing five crew members, including four officers. Talking about the incident, Wing Commander (Retd.) Praful Bakshi said that it is shocking keeping in view the capability of the aircraft in terms of safety and operational aspects. He further said that this is shocking but speculating on the reasons is not fair and that one should wait for the investigative court to come to nay conclusion. He also said that the incident had not only monetary loss but the loss of lives of potential air force officers which is irreplaceable. Mar 28, 2014
