New Delhi, Nov 04 (ANI): Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Manish Sisodia on Monday strongly opposed restriction on opinion polls, and said that it is an essential part of democratic debates. The Congress Party has written to the Election Commission (EC) to restrict opinion polls ahead of the elections. Strike in Bangladesh takes toll on trade and bus service with India

Akhaura, Nov 4 (ANI): Trade between India and its neighbouring Bangladesh is facing the brunt of continuous strikes and unrest in Dhaka as hundreds of passengers are also stuck due to halt in bus services across the border. On Saturday, the bus services resumed after almost a week, but the visitors expressed their anger, as the transportation service to Bangladesh is still very uncertain due to regular strikes in Dhaka. Trade in Tripura and Bangladesh has been badly affected and the business community claims that there is a dip in the number of trucks transporting goods across the border. Normally around 200 trucks loaded with various items from Bangladesh enter Tripura through the Akhaura LCS but at present due to the adverse law and order situation in Bangladesh, the number of vehicles plying is less than 20. Phulbari, Oct 31 (ANI): Strike called by the main opposition party in Bangladesh took a toll on the cross-border trade with India, leaving hundreds of trucks stranded at the transit point in West Bengal. The truck drivers of India, Nepal and Bangladesh are feeling the pinch of the strike in Dhaka due to which import and export items to be delivered are left to rot in open.
