Mumbai, Aug 16 (ANI): The INS Kolkata was commissioned to the nation by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday at the Mumbai dockyard in the presence of Defence Minister Arun Jaitley and Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan. The INS weighs nearly 6800 tonnes and about 3 years were spent to manufacture it. Modi, while addressing the naval officers, said that he dedicates the INS to the nation. HC Judges differ on appeal in TMC MP Tapas Pal_s case

Kolkata, Aug 13 (ANI): The two judges of a division bench of the Calcutta High court on Wednesday differed in appeal on TMC MP Tapas Pal___s case. Justice Girish Gupta set aside the order of Justice Dipankar Dutta who had directed filing of an FIR against Pal. Justice T Chakrabarty, the brother judge, however, dismissed appeals of both the West Bengal government and Tapas Pal. The matter will now go to a third judge to be nominated by the Chief justice.
