Pakistan ceasefire violation an act to defeat Nawaz Sharif's initiative: Defence Expert

New Delhi, June 13 (ANI): Talking about the ceasefire violation by Pakistan on Friday, wherein Pakistani troops opened fire in the Mendhar sector of Jammu and Kashmir, Defence Expert Bharat Verma said that this is done to defeat Nawaz Sharif's initiative to bolster ties with India. Verma said that the acts are finalized by other groups which are stronger than the nation's prime minister. He said that PM Narendra Modi should order the army and even the intelligence agency that there should be no tolerance to any such acts. Further, he also said that stable Pakistan or unstable Pakistan is not of India's interest and actions are required now.

Greenpeace Foundation rejects Intelligence Bureau's allegations

New Delhi, June 11 (ANI): The Greenpeace Foundation on Wednesday refuted allegations of negatively impacting the economic growth of the country, leveled by the Intelligence Bureau (IB) in its report submitted to the Prime Minister's Office (PMO). Bharti Sinha, Communications Director of Greenpeace Foundation, said that Greenpeace has been active in India for the past ten years. It has supported and fought for the people whose voices have been subdued. She further said that Greenpeace has never targeted any specific corporations and can explain this point if given a chance by the government.

Hamren SP Nityananda Goswami's son demands CBI probe into father's death

Guwahati, June 7 (ANI): Nityananda Goswami's son, Nayan Goswami said that a high level probe should be conducted to find out how exactly his father died. On the tip of intelligence, police conducted a combing operation in remote Rongthang forest area of Karbi Anglong district on Friday to nab the militants and after an exchange of fire between two sides the Superintendent of Police Hamren, Nityananda Goswami went missing, whose body was found later. The Additional SP and other police officials who were part of the operation recovered the body of the Superintendent later on Friday.

Akshay and Sonakshi promotes movie 'Holiday'

Mumbai, June 4 (ANI): Leading Bollywood actors, Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha, promoted their latest action thriller, 'Holiday: A Soldier is Never off Duty,' on Tuesday in Mumbai. The movie which is directed by south Indian director and producer, AR Murugadoss, revolves around an Indian army intelligence officer on a mission to track down and destroy a terrorist group. Chairman of the All-India Anti-Terrorist Front (AIATF), MS Bitta has proposed that tickets to the movie be made tax-free.
