Haider is my toughest film: Shahid Kapoor

New Delhi, March 22 (ANI): Actor Shahid Kapoor, who just wrapped up the shooting of his upcoming film Haider, says it was one of the most challenging movies of his career. Haider, which is an adaptation of Shakespearean tragedy Hamlet stars Shahid, in the titular role opposite newbie actress Shraddha Kapoor. The Vishal Bharadwaj directed film is slated to hit theatres on September 12. "It's a wrap on Haider... Only when you play hamlet you realise what a complex part it is. Probably my toughest yet!! And where does the bus go from here. No clue yet. Deep deep house and very very comfy sofa for now," Shahid posted on Twitter.

Indian widows 'break chains of social norms' revel in colours of Holi

Vrindavan, Mar 15 (ANI): Shunned by their families and abhorred by society, thousands of India's widows devoting their lives to the worship of God Krishna broke the taboo on Friday (March 14) and participated in Holi celebrations at an ashram in Vrindavan in Uttar Pradesh. In a jovial mood, they sprinkled flower petals and powdered colours on each other dancing to religious hymns during the celebrations. The organizers ensured that all the widows enjoyed the festivities. Holi, the festival of colours, will be celebrated in India on March 17.
