Goods train derails in Jharkhand

Latehar, Oct 26 (ANI): A goods train derailed in Jharkhand's Latehar district on Sunday after it collided with another train at the Barka Kana railway station. The last four compartments of the goods train were squashed due to the collision. This resulted in a lot of inconvenience for the commuters as several trains taking that route had to be delayed. Massive fire breaks out at Bokaro market

Bokaro, Oct 26 (ANI): A fire broke out in a market in Bokaro on Sunday morning engulfing several shops and damaging goods at least worth three million ahead of Hindu festival of Chhath. The cause of fire is yet to be ascertained and also, no loss of life was reported. Grieving about the losses incurred, a shopkeeper, Prithvi Sav, said all the shops at Dhundibad market were fully stocked with items of worship ahead of Chhath. A fire fighter, Rakesh Tiwari, said at least a little support from the shopkeepers would have helped control fire much faster. It is being estimated that had the fire fighters not reached on time, fire would have damaged material worth more than rupees 100 million. According to study, the sweet drinks could significantly increase the central blood pressure of the people who have it on daily basis than the ones who have it occasionally, which could heighten the risk of heart attack or angina. Although fruit juices have the essential vitamins but they also contain high amounts of sugar and according to previous researches orange juice is equally bad as sweetened drinks, a 250ml serving contains 115 calories or seven teaspoons of sugar while a can of cola has 139 calories.As per World Health Organization's recommendation, people should consume only six teaspoons of sugar per day. Ceasefire violations likely to affect cross border trade between India, Pakistan

Poonch, Oct 17 (ANI): With cross-border shelling by Pakistan continuing unabated, the cross-LoC (Line of Control) trade between Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) is likely to be affected in the coming days. The custodian of cross-LoC trade at Chakan Da Bagh zero point, Mohammad Bashir Lone, said that the Line of Control is a major trade point between both the nations and there has not been direct effect upon trade in Poonch district till now. Products like red chili, cumin, tamarind, bananas, mango, dry dates and dry fruits are exchanged between the two counties.
