AAP demands fast track registration of e- rickshaws in New Delhi

New Delhi, Oct 08 (ANI): Aam Aadmi Party organised a gathering of electric rickshaw drivers in New Delhi on Wednesday to demand faster resolution to the ban on the vehicle in the city. AAP also demanded to waive off the exorbitant fee required for getting an official approval. AAP Chief Arvind Kejriwal, said that the government should place the onus of registering various e-rickshaw models on the e-rickshaw manufacturers and not on the poor drivers. The Delhi High Court on September 09 had banned the plying of e-rickshaws on the roads of the national capital and said it will go on till the rules and regulations for them are outlined by the Road Transport Ministry. CBI says no foul play in Gopinath Munde's death

New Delhi, Oct 8 (ANI): The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has reportedly ruled out any foul play in the death of former Union Rural Development Minister Gopinath Munde. The CBI was given the responsibility of probing the reasons behind the death of Munde following demands made by a number of senior BJP leaders who had suspected foul play in the accident. Munde died on June 3 this year after his car was hit by another vehicle in Delhi while he was on his way to the Indira Gandhi International Airport to take a flight to Mumbai. Japan, Oct 07 (ANI): The sixth Yamaha World Technician Grand Prix 2014 was held on October 1 at Yamaha Motor Corporation in Iwata city, Shizuoka, Japan. This was the world competition for defining the top Yamaha service engineer with profound knowledge and technical skills. This competition has been held every two years since 2002. Twenty mechanics from 18 countries participated in the final contest this year. In 2001, Yamaha established YTA- Yamaha Technical Academy in the world wide service network as their main education program, and it is currently deployed in 36 countries with 33,000 YTA certified engineers have participated to the World Technician Grand Prix. The contestants were tested in theory, trouble shooting, repair on actual motorcycles and skill of making relationship with the customer during reception, vehicle delivery and after service. The contest was designed to judge the engineer's skill in the areas of proper service knowledge by providing service that communicates the ideas of Yamaha products and providing hospitable customer service.
