Lucknow, Dec 16 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Akhilesh Yadav on Monday while giving details about the relief provided to Muzaffarnagar riot victims staying in relief camps, said that a committee has been formed to probe the matter of children dying in the camps and added that it will soon submit its report. Yadav also said that the UP government has made arrangements for blankets, pillows and clothes for the affected people living in the relief camps. Yadav's statement comes after the Apex Court last week pulled the state government over the plight of victims of the riots and ordered the administration to immediately supply medical help to people living in relief camps. "I sometimes wish in India we had a chain of theatres which would throughout the year showcase films from different parts of the world. Even films from different parts of our country, films from different languages which we could all get to watch..." he said. "These films may not be released on a big scale but there are so many wonderful films that deserve to be watched. New Delhi, Dec 13 (ANI): President of Afghanistan, Hamid Karzai, arrived in India’s capital New Delhi on a four-day official visit, during which he is expected to seek the nation’s nod for greater military and civil support after the withdrawal of the NATO forces from his country. Karzai was received by MoS for Home Affairs, RPN Singh, and other protocol officials at the airport. Afghanistan is pressing India to supply military helicopters, tanks and artillery as it tries to shore up security through regional alliances before the withdrawal of most NATO-led foreign troops by the end of 2014.
