Tokyo, Sep 01 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday met Japan's Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida and Economy, Trade and Industry Minister Toshimitsu Motegi, in Tokyo to discuss bilateral and multilateral issues. Modi, on his first major foreign visit to Tokyo, after taking up the post as the prime minister of India, arrived on Saturday for a five-day trip aimed at capitalising on a personal affinity with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to bolster security and business ties in the face of an assertive China. Japan wants explicit guarantees from India, which has not signed the nuclear non-proliferation treaty, to limit atomic tests and allow closer inspection of its facilities to ensure that spent fuel is not used to make bombs. Srinagar, Aug 31 (ANI): Kashmiri girls shined at National Dragon Boat Race Championship and impressed selectors with their hidden talent in Srinagar. The four-day championship was organized by sports council in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir armed police along with different non-government organizations to boost water sports in world famous Dal Lake in Jammu and Kashmir. Participants, hailing from different cities like New Delhi and Punjab, were divided in twelve teams. Girls stole the show by exhibiting their talents in this competition. New Delhi, Aug 30 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on his way to Japan on Saturday for a five-day trip, hoping to win Japanese backing for a nuclear energy pact and lure investment to help kick-start its economy. Accoring to experts, getting a nuclear deal will be Modi's top priority during the visit. Defence expert Uday Bhaskar, however said that Modi will have to first address Japan's concern about nuclear proliferation.
