New Delhi, July 28 (ANI): Salman Khan has proved it yet again that he is the ultimate king of the box office. His Eid release Kick opposite Sri Lankan beauty Jacqueline Fernandez has collected a whopping Rs 83.83 crore in its opening weekend. Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh said the weekend collection of Kick was spectacular. He tweeted: #Kick has a HUMONGOUS Day 3. Collects 30.18 croreon Sunday, thus crossing 83 crore mark in its opening weekend. WOW! But the movie just missed bagging the much coveted 100 crore mark in opening weekend, a feat earlier achieved by his movie Ek Tha Tiger. While Ek Tha Tiger entered the Rs 100 crore club on its first weekend, Bodyguard earned Rs 88 crore. Kick has become the highest opening day grossing film of 2014.
