Northeast Bands rock Fresher's Meet in Delhi

New Delhi, Sep 10 (ANI): Around 5000 students from different parts of New Delhi gathered at the NSUI ground in Central Secretariat to celebrate the Fresher's Meet held under the theme of "peace and unity". The event was organized by NSUI and students from the Northeast in Delhi with the aim of bringing people together, across barriers of race and language. During the event, the culture of the region, especially its dances, was on display. It included the Adi tribe cultural dance from Arunachal, harvest dance from Nagaland and Sattriya dance from Assam.
