Coolers, wet jute bags help zoo animals cope with intense heat

Patna/ Vadodara, June 13 (ANI): In wake of intense heat, zoo authorities across India made special arrangements for the animals and birds and installed coolers to help them cope with scorching heat. In an effort to provide cool shelters to birds, jute bags have been placed on cages on which water is sprayed periodically, so that the enclosures remain cool. A visitor to Sanjay Gandhi Zoological Park in Patna city of Bihar, Mohammed Mustaq, said special steps have been taken by the zoo authorities to provide them with summer comfort. Congress delegation meets Delhi Chief Secretary over power crisis issue

New Delhi, June 09 (ANI): A Congress delegation on Monday met Chief Secretary of Delhi, Sanjay Kumar Srivastava over the issue of power crisis in the national capital. The Delhi Congress leaders later gheraoed the Chief Secretary as the government has surrendered on the issue and had failed to find a solution in the matter.
