Photographers' business thrives as tourists flock to snow-covered Himachal Pradesh

Kufri, Jan 16 (ANI): Snowfall in Himachal Pradesh has not only brought cheers to tourists from warmer parts of the country, but it has also given photographers an opportunity to rake in extra income. Nearly 200 photographers are working in snow-covered hill station of Kufri, over 20 kilometres from capital city, Shimla. They believe that though tourists are equipped with the latest cameras, they still rely on professional photographers to capture their memories. Politicos welcome RBI's decision to slash repo rate by 25 basis points to 7.75 percent

New Delhi, Jan 15 (ANI): Politicos on Thursday welcomed the Reserve Bank of India's decision to slash repo rate by 25 basis points to 7.75 percent. Reserve Bank of India Governor Raghuram Rajan took markets and corporate India by surprise early Thursday morning when he announced a long-awaited cut in the repo rate by 25 basis points to 7.75% with immediate effect. This is the first repo rate cut since May 2013. Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and Minister of State for the ministry also welcomed the decision and saw the same as beneficial for the nation building.
