Gandhinagar, Jan 11 (ANI): United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon on Sunday addressed the Vibrant Gujarat Summit-2015 which is taking place in Gandhinagar. Ban Ki-Moon said that he paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi at Sabarmati Ashram and said that he hoped Mahatma Gandhi’s ideals will keep inspiring the lives of all people in the world. Ahmedabad, Jan 11 (ANI): United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon on Sunday visited Sabarmati Ashram of Mahatma Gandhi ahead of the Seventh Vibrant Gujarat Summit. The UN Secretary General will be the keynote speaker on the Vibrant Gujarat Summit. He will also meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the summit sidelines. President of Karnataka unit of Hindu Mahasabha Swami Pranavananda Giri said that the organisation demands from the Central government to replace Mahatma Gandhi’s image from currency notes by images of patriotic leaders like Maharana Pratap or Godse. Modi inaugurates 13th Pravasi Bhartiya Diwas in Gandhinagar

About 4000 NRIs from 58 countries are in the city to attend the annual fest that brings together members of the Indian diaspora to engage and discuss investing in India.
