Congress reacts as Gujarat CM introduces new textbooks & enforces dress code for teachers

New Delhi, July 26 (ANI): Gujarat Chief Minister, Anandiben Patel is set to introduce new texts books in schools. Further, school teachers may be banned from wearing jeans and T-shirts to work as recommended by a panel formed to recommend primary education reforms. It may also become compulsory for women teachers to wear a salwar kameez or a sari, according to these proposals. New Delhi, July 25 (ANI): Former Cricketer Kirti Azad on Friday condemned the ICC's decision to penalize Indian cricketer Ravindra Jadeja over his spat with James Anderson. The ICC has found Ravindra Jadeja guilty of Level 1 breach of the ICC Code of Conduct, and therefore fined 50% of his match fee. New Delhi, July 24 (ANI): An advocate of Supreme Court on Thursday said that the Shiv Sena leader, who force-fed a fasting Muslim, is liable to face legal action under Indian Penal Code (IPC) for hurting religious sentiments. Shiv Sena leader Rajan Vichare was caught on a video trying to force-feed a Muslim caterer, Arshad Zubair, when the food served in Maharashtra Sadan was not up to his standards. Woman gang-raped in moving car in Mumbai

Mumbai, July 24 (ANI): In a shocking incident, a 35-year old woman has alleged that she was gang-raped by two men in a moving car at Dharavi on July 22 in a moving car in Dharavi area. The accused are said to be known to the victim. The police have registered a case under Indian Penal Code sections 376 (D) for gang-rape and 34 (common intention). Bangalore rape case: Police arrests chairman of Vibgyor School

Bangalore, July 23 (ANI): Bangalore Police arrested the chairman of the privately-run Vibgyor School where a minor girl was sexually assaulted. According to reports, the chairman, Rustom Kerawalla, of Vibgyor School was arrested after it was found that there was delay on his part in reporting the crime to the police. It is also alleged that he concealed information related to the case from the police. It is also alleged that the Kerawalla tried to destroy evidence relating to the incident.
