Vietnam's Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung arrives in India for two-day visit

Gaya, Oct 27 (ANI): Vietnam's Prime Minister, Nguyen Tan Dung, arrived in India on Monday to enhance ties and regional cooperation and began his two-day visit by landing in Bihar. Dung, who was accompanied by a 50-member delegation, was received by Bihar Chief Minister, Jitan Ram Manjhi, in Gaya city. During his visit in the state, Dung will pay homage at Mahabodhi temple in holy town of Bodh Gaya, where Lord Buddha is believed to have attained enlightenment. He would also visit the Vietnam Buddhism Pagoda in the town. Both the countries could sign at least a dozen pacts to boost cooperation in sectors like energy, infrastructure, trade and tourism. Dung will hold talks with his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi, President Pranab Mukherjee, Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj and other leaders. The trade between the two countries has reached $8 billion during 2013-14. Oct 27, 2014
