BJP prepares for win in General Elections

Gujarat, May 15 (ANI): Confident of a win with clear majority, BJP gears up to celebrate its victory in the country's mammoth general elections on Thursday, a day before the poll results. With a few more hours remaining for the fate of the world's largest democracy to be decided, BJP in Gujarat has already started preparing for the post-win celebrations and interactions. The confidence comes from the exit polls, conducted after the poll exercise ended on May 12, which showed the BJP and its allies would touch half-way mark in the 543-member Lok Sabha of the Parliament. BJP parliamentary board to meet in Delhi on May 17

New Delhi, May 15 (ANI): BJP’s parliamentary board will meet in Delhi on 17 May, a day after Lok Sabha poll results are declared. BJP President Rajnath Singh said that he has told Narendra Modi to come to Delhi on 17 and that he would convene the Parliamentary Board meeting on that date to decide the earliest date to hold BJP parliamentary party meet to formally elect Modi as their leader. Singh also added that they would welcome support from any other political party.
