Hyderabad, Sep 11 (ANI): Targeting Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, IandB Minister Prakash Javadekar addressing a media conference said on Thursday that he won't allow anyone to play havoc with the freedom of media. The statement came after Telangana CM threatened the media of burying 10 feet under the earth, if it insults Telangana. Earth Sciences Minister makes mandatory for scientists to teach in schools

New Delhi, Sep 09 (ANI): Earth Sciences Minister, Jitendra Singh, on Tuesday, said that over 5,000 highly accomplished scientists, working with various departments under Science and Technology Ministry would devote time to impart education to students of various schools and colleges in the country. Addressing a news conference in New Delhi, Singh said the concept was new for the country. Singh added that scientists will have to teach for 12 hours and evaluation of their teaching skills will be done after every three years. India's education ministry will collaborate with concerned departments in this endeavour. Meanwhile, Singh said recently launched indigenously built Oceanographic Research Vessel was a success and post sea trials, the vessel sailed for its first oceanographic research cruise from southern Visakhapatnam city.
