New Delhi, March 02 (ANI): Congress on Monday appointed Ajay Maken, who led the Congress party in the worst ever defeat in Delhi Assembly elections, as the Delhi Congress Pradesh Committee (DPCC) chief. The rejig was in continuation to Rahul Gandhi's campaign of revamping the beleaguered party. Speculations are rife that Rahul's sister Priyanka Gandhi will soon join active politics by accepting a general secretary post in the Congress party. This was, however, denied by Priyanka's office. New Delhi, Feb 28 (ANI): Anti-graft crusader, Anna Hazare said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was allergic to him and added that the country would never progress under Modi's rule or that of Congress party vice-president Rahul Gandhi. New Delhi, Feb 26 (ANI): Parliamentary Affairs Minister M Venkaiah Naidu on Thursday apologized for his remarks on Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi in Lok Sabha and said that he had not used unparliamentarily language in the House. He added that he respects the Opposition and had not intention to hurt anyone. The apology came after the Opposition threatened to disrupt proceedings in Parliament over Naidu's remarks.
