Two artists from the Northeast participate in an exhibition in Delhi

New Delhi, Sep 29 (ANI): The second edition of the "United Art Fair" was held at Pragati Maidan in Delhi. Around 300 artists from across the country participated in the four-day long fair, and 2000 artworks including sculptures, sketches and paintings were displayed at the event. It is one of Asia's largest Art fair. It was organized by the Mooz Entertainment and UAPL. The event was inaugurated by Lok Sabha Speaker, Meira Kumar. A young artist, Sandeep Jigdung from Assam, showcased his work at the fair, which deals with the Northeast's natural beauty. He wants to raise awareness through his paintings about the rich flora and fauna of the region. Sep 29, 2013

YSR Chief Jagan Reddy walks out of jail after 16 months

Hyderabad, Sep 24 (ANI): YSR Congress president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy walked out free of the high security Chenchalguda Central prison in Hyderabad on Tuesday, after 16 months, amidst loud cheer from supporters and sloganeering by his supporters. Once outside the jail, Jagan greeted his supporters with his signature 'namaste'. Security was tight outside the jail ahead of his release. Police had to resort to mild lathi charge to control the crowd. Earlier on Monday, Jagan was granted bail in a disproportionate assets case.
