British Airways flights cancelled after catastrophic failure hits IT network

All British Airways flights from Heathrow and Gatwick have been cancelled on 27 May. A major IT system failure has disrupted the companys flight schedule worldwide. Long queues formed at both airports on the particularly busy bank holiday weekend. Travellers complained about a lack of information from BA.
