Saifai, Feb 21 (ANI): Bollywood veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan on Saturday attended the 'Tilak' ceremony of SP Chief Mulayam Singh Yadav's Grand-Nephew Tej Pratap Yadav in Saifai village of Uttar Pradesh. Tej Pratap is marrying Raj Lakshmi, the youngest daughter of Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad Yadav on February 26 in New Delhi. A staggering 1,00,000 invites have been sent out for the ceremony. PM Modi attends 'Tilak' Ceremony of Mulayam Singh Yadav's Grand-Nephew

Saifai, Feb 21 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday attended the pre-wedding ceremony or Tilak of Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav's grandnephew Tej Pratap Yadav in Saifai village. Tej Pratap is marrying Raj Lakshmi, the youngest daughter of Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad. A staggering 100,000 invites have been sent out for the ceremony. Tej Pratap Singh Yadav is a Lok Sabha member from Mainpuri. Saifai village, some 25 km from Etawah, is buzzing with frantic activity for the ceremony. Delicacies like bedai, baati-chokha and halwa soaked in desi ghee would be served. According to reports, Amitabh Bachchan has also confirmed his presence. Reactions from political circle on Jitan Ram Manjhi's resignation

New Delhi, Feb 20 (ANI): Jitan Ram Manjhi on Friday stepped down as the Bihar Chief Minister, hours before he was to seek a vote of confidence in the state assembly. Manjhi had earlier met Bihar Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi at the Governor's House. Manjhi was locked in a showdown with former Bihar chief minister and senior Janata Dal (United) leader Nitish Kumar, who had handpicked him to take his place last year. Meanwhile, reactions poured in from the political bigwigs on the matter. The BJP had asked its 87 MLAs to vote in favour of Manjhi today while the JD (U), RJD, Congress and CPI had issued a whip to its legislators to vote against him. Etawah, Feb 19 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi may attend the Tilak ceremony of Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav's grandnephew in Saifai, Uttar Pradesh. The SP chief's grandnephew Tej Pratap, who is an MP from Mainpuri, is getting married to Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad Yadav's youngest daughter Raj Lakshmi. The ceremony is scheduled to be held on February 21.
