New Delhi/ Bhopal, Jan 30 (ANI): Political leaders as well as Defence Expert on Friday react as Pakistan yet again violated ceasefire at Arnia and RS Pura sectors of the international borders. At least 3 civilians were injured in the firing. Congress leaders PC Chacko said that the central government has totally failed in this regard and also said that Pakistan has stopped taking India seriously now. BJP leader GVL Narasimha Rao said that Pakistan is nervous about the progress led by India and that these are the signs of the same. Meanwhile, Defence Expert SR Sinho said that Pakistan is disturbed by the closeness in relations of India with the US and also China's assurance to the nuclear armed nation. Jan 30, 2015

Pakistan expresses concern over India-US nuclear deal

Wagah Border, Jan 30 (ANI): Pakistan ambassador to India, Abdul Basit expressed concern over India-US nuclear deal. Pakistan said that the deal, which was signed during President Barack Obama visit to New Delhi, would have a detrimental impact on deterrence stability in South Asia. Further, it termed the agreement a move for political and economic expediencies. Explaining his absence from New Delhi during Obama’s visit, Basit said he was on a private visit to Pakistan. Islamabad also opposed New Delhi’s bid for membership to the 48-member Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG) and a permanent seat in the UN Security Council. Dalai Lama says India important nation, can keep nuke weapon

Ghaziabad, Jan 28 (ANI): Tibetan spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama said that although he did not support nuclear weapons but certain nations could keep it for safety for all. Dalai Lama was in Ghaziabad as the chief guest in a school function. When asked about the civil nuclear cooperation between India and the United States, which has been revived by US President Barack Obama's visit, the Dalai Lama said that he considered India as a huge and populous nation and hence it had a right to keep nuclear weapon.
