Indo-Bangladesh business conclave in Dhaka emphasizes on enhancing trade relations with northeast re

Dhaka, Sep 05 (ANI): Investors, entrepreneurs, policy makers, ministers and government officials from India and Bangladesh came together in Dhaka for a 2-day long business conclave, in an effort to enhance bilateral trade and connectivity. Another aim was to tap Bangladesh's business potential with India's northeastern region and West Bengal state. The conclave titled 'A New Phase in Bilateral Economic Relations' was organized by the Indian Chamber of Commerce and the India-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry with support from the Indian High Commission in Dhaka. The 31 member Indian delegation was led by DoNER minister Gen. (retd) V.K. Singh. The participants focused on finding ways for the removal of bottlenecks in the free flow of trade and commerce between the 2 countries and strengthening connectivity on all fronts. Sep 5, 2014

Environment minister says confidence of investors in India has improved

Jaipur, Aug 31 (ANI): Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar on Sunday said that investors' confidence in the domestic market has improved in wake of lumbering economy registering its fastest growth in two-and-a-half years for the quarter ending in June. Gross domestic product grew a faster-than-expected 5.7 percent year-on-year, a government data showed, sharply higher than a provisional 4.6 percent expansion in the previous three months.
