Protesters rally, get arrested on Fight for 15 national day of disruption

The minimum wage advocacy group known as the Fight for 15—as in a $15 minimum wage—called for a “national day of disruption” in 340 cities across 29 states and the District of Columbia on Tuesday, 29 November, in which home care, childcare, fast food and airport workers simply stopped working. Protesters rallied in the streets of New York City. Some got arrested, mainly for disorderly conduct.  Nov 30, 2016
