Salman Khan along with Nita Ambani came forward to support grassroots football movement. This programme will create a platform for the development of grassroots football activity and talent-scouting across the country. The ISL grassroots programme aims to reach out to a million young footballers in the first few years and expose them to the best practices in global football. In the first phase, the grassroots programmes will aim to reach out to 500,000 children through in-school and maidan initiatives, beginning early 2015. The outreach programmes will focus on introduction of kids to football, training and talent-scouting through a series of selection modules across the country. New Delhi, Dec 4 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 120.11 points up to stand at 28,562.82. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 26.75 points up to stand at 8,564.40. ABB and ALOK INDUSTRIES LTD. were among the top gainers of Group A with an increase of 12.72% and 11.98% along with BEL and PUNJLLOYD with an increase of 10.50% and 8.52% respectively, while the top losers of Group A include KAILASH and RASOYA PROTEINS LTD. with a decrease 4.99% and 4.55% along with GITANJALI and AIA ENGINEERING LTD. with a decrease of 3.60% and 3.57% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is up 24.16 points at 19,361.96 while the banking sector is up 159.91 points at 21,499.73 and the reality sector is down 3.02 points at 1,693.03. Meanwhile, reacting over the issue union minister and BJP leader Venkaiah Naidu informed the Lok Sabha, that the party called the minister and raised the matter. She has expressed regret for her comments. Both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha today saw protests over remarks made by Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti. New Delhi, Dec 02 (ANI): Narendra Modi cabinet's newly inducted minister of state for Food Processing Industries Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti courted controversy by using abusive language while campaigning in Delhi. The union minister on Monday refused to budge from her words and justified the same saying that the statement was meant for the separatist people who disgrace the nation and disrupt the Parliament. Jyoti used an expletive as she questioned a crowd in west Delhi saying, "You have to decide. Do you want a government of Ramzaadon (followers of Ram) or (those who are illegitimate)?"
