Rebecca Changkija, a Bollywood filmmaker explores the beauty of northeast

Nagaland, Dec 20 (ANI): 'Te Amo', meaning 'I Love You' is a Hindi film, which has not only been shot in the Northeast, but has star cast and music by the artists from the region. Produced by a Naga, Rebecca Alemla Changkija the film is expected to be released soon. Hailing from Dimapur, Rebecca has already produced a Bollywood film 'The Dark Secrets of Tonhi' and few others are in the pipeline including '2 a.m. at Lokhandwala', Elena and '16 mm picture'. A fashion designer by profession, Rebecca runs 'Find Studioz', a Production House in Mumbai and her motive is to explore northeast through Bollywood. The only Naga film producer in Bollywood, Rebecca has a dream to capture the Bollywood industry. Her film 'The Dark Secrets of Tonhi' is based on real incidents of black magic practiced by women known as Tonhis in Chhattisgarh and some parts of the northeast. Dec 20, 2014

Friday's Big Release: 'PK'

Lucknow/ Gujrat/ Mumbai, Dec 19 (ANI): People thronged theatres across India early on Friday to watch the much awaited Bollywood comedy-drama 'PK' starring superstar Aamir Khan. It's the most anticipated Bollywood film of the year and no one knows what it's about. "PK" opened in Indian cinemas on Friday with audiences still in the dark about the film's storyline or why it's naive and unworldly protagonist with pointy ears never blinks. Trailers and publicity stills released in the past few weeks have sparked a guessing game about the plot, with its green-eyed hero said to be an alien or an autistic savant. But fans said they anticipated a lot from the movie because the craze which had been created and since Khan, who has a big fan-following in India, starred in it. Meanwhile in showbiz capital Mumbai, the cast and crew had a special screening of the movie for the police. While Trade analysts say curiosity about its storyline and the low-key marketing campaign would help "PK" at the box office. All we can hope is that the film lives up to the expectations! Dec 19, 2014
