India, Fiji sign DTAA to avoid double taxation

New Delhi, Jan 31 (ANI): India and Fiji signed a pact to avoid double taxation and to facilitate mutual economic co-operation between the two countries. The Government of India signed the Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement (DTAA) with the Government Fiji that also provides for exchange of banking information for tax administration purpose. The pact was signed in New Delhi by India’s Finance Minister P Chidambaram and the Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum on behalf of the Government of Fiji. BJP launches website to collect funds online from supporters

New Delhi, Jan 15 (ANI): In a run-up to the upcoming national polls, the BJP on Tuesday launched a website to donate online funds for supporting party's campaign, aimed at making Narendra Modi as the next Prime Minister. The website that was launched at an event in New Delhi had been named as 'Modi for PM fund'. BJP chief, Rajnath Singh, said that the party had fixed up limits for the donations that the supporters could contribute via internet. Rajnath Singh kick-started the funds-raising campaign by donating1000 rupees.
