Egypt: Three new tombs unveiled in Luxor

Three new tombs have been opened to the public for the first time in Egypts ancient city of Luxor, while two others have been reopened after restoration and conservation work. The new tombs, located in the small village of Qurnat Marey, were opened for the first time since their discovery in a ceremony officiated by the Egyptian Minister of Antiquities Mamdouh El Damaty. UN expects EU’s refugee flow to top 1m in 2015

Refugees and migrants are likely to keep coming to Europe at a rate of up to 5,000 per day via Turkey this winter, the United Nations said on Thursday (5 November), meaning that more than a million people will have fled to the continent this year. About 760,000 people have already crossed the Mediterranean in 2015, mainly to Greece and Italy, after fleeing wars in Syria, Afghanistan and Iraq, as well as conflicts in Africa. Nov 5, 2015
