At a recent interview given to Andpersand magazine Shahrukh recalled the story of his parents love and said, “I was meant to be a romantic hero. I have to thank my genes for it. No, it is not about my looks; I suppose I inherited more of my parents’ disposition than their looks. But my father is my favourite romantic hero.” “My father was 29 when he met my mother. And it was an accident, literally. A very beautiful and fateful accident,” added Shahrukh who himself has had a very successful love story with his wife Gauri.
