Mumbai, March 26 (ANI): Bollywood actor, Arjun Kapoor, has been chosen as the national brand ambassador of Earth Hour 2014 to endorsed the cause and urged individuals, communities, households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights for one hour as a symbol of their commitment to the planet. Kapoor spoke in detail about his association with the cause and invited citizens of the country to come forward and show their support for the campaign. Feeling proud to be part of the event, he said that everyone should support policies that balance development and environmental concerns. Earth hour is the environmental campaign that enables individuals, organisations, governments and groups to come together and fight for environmental concerns. Earth Hour is a worldwide movement for the planet organised by the World Wildlife Fund for Nature (WWF) and engages a massive mainstream community on a broad range of environmental issues.
