6.4-Magnitude Quake Struck Indonesia's Sumatra; 1 Died of Shock

A strong quake of magnitude 6.4 struck off the west coast of Indonesia's Sumatra Island on early Wednesday, according to U.S. Geological Survey. The tremor at a depth of 22 kilometer (13.7 miles) struck Indonesia at around 07.30 am (00:30 GMT) at epicenter.
